We are looking to find up to two altos and a bass to join our choir.

We are a small choir of up to 20 singers. We perform two concerts a year, with varied programmes, around May and November - see our Past Concerts page. For each concert, we have six rehearsals on Sunday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm, at St Mary the Virgin, Winnersh.

We try to avoid note-bashing, so members are asked to do their best to learn the music, using provided rehearsal tracks, in advance of rehearsals.

There is no membership fee, but members are asked to make a contribution (normally around £20) for each concert, to pay for the cost of putting the concert on. This also includes some or all of the music.

Concerts are always free for our audiences to attend and we do not sell tickets. The church raises money for a good cause through a retiring collection.

We are a very friendly group and we would love to welcome a couple of altos and a bass to restore the balance between voice-parts!

Our next concert is in the afternoon of Sunday 23rd November 2025, at St Mary's, Winnersh. Rehearsals start on 12th October.
